tanacetum-vulgare asked: Yeah man. Extreme Couponing is an American reality TV show where they have someone who's really into coupons in the most intense way go on a big shopping trip and see how much they can get for how little money. Every single one has a binder of coupons, a garage stockpile of products, and from what I've seen, they all walk out with between $300-1000 worth of stuff and I think the most I ever saw someone pay was approx $50. One even got money back! It prob only works in the US though :/
But basically they all get as many coupons as they can - multiples for the same item- wait for the items to go on sale, and also there’s a thing in the states apparently where coupons “double”? They don’t do that in Canada. Some of them even take advantage of loyalty programs where every dollar rung in gives them points toward shopping at the store and it counts pre-coupon, hence the ones who walk out with money owed them. It’s amazing. They plan this shit out to every tiny detail. Serious math.
holy wow
I have gotta see if I can get onto that
