I do think that long-term it doesn’t work out for any woman to stand by while other women are being dehumanised: we may get a sense of security from it but it’s false, material benefits but they are contingent. but it’s just as true that white, cis women do this all the time, even if it’s not smart, and I sacrificed an acknowledgement of this for a snappy phrase. I’m sorry.
