You know, every single day I get a bunch of racist assholes who write in with some kind of argument about how there’s no racism anymore and that I need to lighten up. So big ups to Rupert Murdoch for publishing this fucking insanely racist cartoon that stops just shy of openly lamenting that Australia wasn’t 100% successful in genociding their native population.
PS: I wish there was some way you and your horrible son might actually go to jail.

The Greek letters for Christ; its the Chi and the Rho, and basically the early first century logo for Christ. I got it there on my waistline because 1) you gotta have some confidence to pull off a waist tattoo, and 2) because no guys get em there. I really can’t express how much of an influence Christ has made in my life; and seeing how I am a strong Christian I found it fitting to put His logo on my body forever.

42, female, single, college degree, paid back my loans, worked a bunch of jobs. Two years in a maximum security prison. Where, by the way, there is no cable, no internet, no health care, no three square meals, no free ride, no education. There is hunger, disease, contagious pests, heat stroke, drug addiction, and daily sexual assault by guards in the name of “security”, though. Oh, and violence and overcrowding, and discrimination if you don’t bow down to religious beliefs you don’t believe in.
The best people in prison are other prisoners. And guess what? No one in prison claims they are innocent. Not even innocent people. It’s a moot point. You’re there, and you already know, no one believes you or cares, so why rehash it?
Your family will probably abandon you, though I was lucky and my parents never did (everyone else? Oh yes). If there is no one on the outside for you, you have NOTHING. If a culture can be judged by how it treats its sick, its poor, and its prisoners, America wouldn’t even rate a failing grade. And I wish it was just the 1% at fault for this, but alas, it is not.
Hate to break it to ya, but I’m still the 99%, and there are millions like me. Sooner or later you will all be one of us, or know one of us, or love one of us. I didn’t choose the situation. I can only choose how I deal with it.
